 Vandevi focuses on fairly-traded, authentic handcrafted Indian furniture, gifts, home furnishings and accessories. Originally from India, Roshie was born and bought up in Zambia before coming to boarding school in Kent to study further. Having lived in Africa and regularly visiting relatives in India, Roshie has had the opportunity to see the many beautiful traditional handcrafts which are mostly made in rural villages. It has also given her the opportunity to see just how important sustainability and self-sufficiency is for these very poor communities. What is Fair Trade? |
